Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentice: Engineering or Technology Degree in the concerned discipline from a statutory university or an institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology or Diploma in Commercial Practice granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education or recognized university.
- Year of Passing: Only candidates who completed their Degree/Diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.
- Equivalency: Candidates holding equivalent qualifications must submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Domicile: Only candidates who are permanent domiciles of Kerala are eligible.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age as of 01.09.2026.
- Ineligibility: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or possess work experience of 1 year or more are not eligible.
Selection Process & Evaluation Criteria
- Shortlisting based on Merit: Shortlisting is executed purely on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree or Diploma examination.
- Tie-Breaking Rule: If multiple candidates secure equal percentage marks, seniority in the passing year will be given preference. If the passing year is identical, precedence is granted to the candidate older in age.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Certificate Verification, where original age, educational, caste, and domicile documents must be presented.
- Medical Fitness: Final engagement is subject to clearing physical medical fitness criteria established by CSL.
