Eligibility Criteria & Salary Structure
1. Educational Qualifications
- Junior Engineer (JE): Diploma or B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering streams from a recognized University/Institution.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Diploma or Degree in Engineering in any discipline.

2. Pay Scale & Salary Details
Selected candidates for Junior Engineer, DMS, and CMA positions will be appointed under Pay Level 6 of the 7th CPC Matrix. The initial basic pay is Rs. 35,400/- per month, plus applicable allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).
Selection Process
The selection process for RRB JE recruitment typically consists of the following phases:
- Computer Based Test (CBT 1): Screening test covering General Awareness, Physics/Chemistry, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
- Computer Based Test (CBT 2): Core technical domain paper along with general subjects.
