Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed Matriculation (Class 10th) from a recognized Board, followed by an ITI course (NCVT or SCVT certified) in the corresponding trade.

2. Age Limit

The minimum required age is 18 years as on the date preceding the commencement of the training program. There is no upper age limit restriction for this recruitment drive.

3. Physical Standards & Medical Examination

Candidates must satisfy physical fitness requirements specified under Rule 4 and Schedule II of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. A final medical examination will be conducted by the Yard Medical Officer prior to enrollment.

4. Ineligibility

Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any organization are not eligible to apply.

Stipend & Application Fee

  • Stipend: Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as governed by the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (or revised government directives) upon contract execution.
  • Application Fee: There is no application fee for any candidate category

Selection Process

The selection methodology comprises the following steps

  1. Shortlisting: Initial merit screening based on aggregate percentage marks secured in Class 10th and ITI Trade certificates.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited via email for a technical skill interview evaluated out of 50 marks.
  3. Final Merit List: Merit rank is determined strictly on performance in the interview. Ties are resolved by prioritizing older candidates, followed by alphabetical order of candidate names.
  4. Document Verification & Medical Test: Candidates must produce original academic credentials, identity proofs, and category certificates (if applicable) prior to formal onboarding.
