Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Civilian Motor Driver: 18 to 27 years
  • All Other Posts: 18 to 25 years
  • Age relaxation applicable as per central government norms (OBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, PWD: 10-15 years)

Educational & Technical Qualifications

  • Fireman & Leading Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent with proficiency in handling firefighting equipment and first-aid operations.
  • Civilian Motor Driver: Matriculation or equivalent with a valid driving license for Heavy & Light Motor Vehicles and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
  • Fire Engine Driver: Matriculation, valid heavy vehicle driving license, and 3 years of driving experience.
  • Tradesman Mate, Cleaner & MTS: Matriculation or equivalent with proficiency in the respective trade.
  • Cook: Matriculation with working knowledge of Indian cooking and trade proficiency.
  • Civilian Catering Instructor: Matriculation with a Diploma/Certificate in Catering from a recognized institution.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted without an interview process[cite: 1]. The evaluation stages consist of:

  1. Physical / Skill Test (Qualifying nature)
  2. Written Examination
  3. Document Verification & Medical Fitness

Written Examination Pattern

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 25 Questions / 25 Marks
  • General Awareness: 50 Questions / 50 Marks
  • General English: 50 Questions / 50 Marks
  • Numerical Aptitude: 25 Questions / 25 Marks
  • Exam Duration: 2 Hours
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer

Application Instructions & Envelope Marking Guidelines

Application fee is entirely exempted for all categories. Candidates must fill out the prescribed offline application form and mail it via registered post.

Envelope Color Code Mandate: Applicants are required to write their matriculation percentage on top of the submission envelope using specific ink colors based on their score:

  • 50% or below: RED INK
  • 51% to 60%: BLUE INK
  • 61% and above: BLACK INK
